As a Moroccan chef guide, Chef Mohamed Ben Mchabcheb brings decades of culinary experience and a lifelong passion for Morocco to every journey. Chef Mohamed Ben Mchabcheb is an award-winning Moroccan chef, restaurateur, and cultural ambassador whose passion for Morocco extends far beyond the kitchen.
An honors graduate and top student of L’École Hôtelière Ad-Dyafa in Rabat, Chef Ben trained in Moroccan and French cuisine before building an international culinary career that took him from Saudi Arabia to Chicago’s renowned L’Escargot and The Ritz-Carlton. He later opened Marrakesh, L’Olive Restaurant, and La France Café & Crêpes, sharing his Moroccan and French culinary heritage with American audiences.
His culinary work has been featured on American television, radio, in food magazines and newspapers, and he has been invited to speak about Moroccan cuisine and culture at Loyola University Chicago, DePaul University, and Roosevelt University.
Today, Chef Mchabcheb invites travelers to experience the Morocco he knows and loves—its food, markets, traditions, people, and stories. More than a culinary tour, this is an invitation to discover Morocco through the eyes of a Moroccan chef.
